Regional Broadband Scheme charge assessments

View Regional Broadband Scheme (RBS) charge assessments by reporting period.

Please note: (1) Transitional arrangements and concessions only apply to the first 5 years of the scheme. They do not apply to the 2025–26 RBS reporting period (the 6th eligible year) and beyond. RBS reporting for the 2024–25 period is due by 31 October 2025.

(2) The recently made instrument (which is subject to disallowance) aims to reduce the RBS charge per month per premises for the 6th eligible financial year to $2.17725. This is comprised of a base component of $2.17060 and administrative cost component of $0.00665 for each month for each premises.
