Outcome

We received 5 submissions from industry and associated stakeholders. You can view all non-confidential submissions at the bottom of the page.

After considering the submissions, we have updated the CRIS to include further detail about costs and a summary of issues raised.

We will continue to engage with industry on cost recovery matters. We thank all those involved in the consultation.

Previous consultation: The issue

The ACMA recovers costs associated with the register from industry. As part of this, we consult on the cost recovery arrangements through a CRIS. This draft CRIS details the cost recovery arrangements, including costs associated with the delivery of the service and the levy to be recovered from industry.

The CRIS does not propose changes to the cost recovery arrangements for the program. Once the CRIS is finalised, we will issue invoices for the 2024–25 levy period to industry. This is expected to be in February/March 2026.
