Key documents

The issue

We have prepared a draft Cost Recovery Implementation Statement (CRIS), which reports on how the AMC implements cost recovery for regulatory services relating to:

  • marine radio certificates of proficiency
  • the marine radio operator's handbook
  • the marine very high frequency (VHF) radio operator's handbook.

The draft CRIS includes the AMC’s financial estimates for the 2026 and 2027 calendar year until 31 July 2027. It also outlines a proposed 10% increase to marine radio fees from September 2026 to reflect rising costs for the AMC.

Have your say

We welcome your feedback on the draft CRIS by 5 pm (AEST) on Monday 6 July 2026.
