Proposed ACLC 2024–25

The Telecommunications (Carrier Licence Charges) Act 1997 imposes an Annual Carrier Licence Charge (ACLC) on each carrier licence in force at the start of a financial year. The ACLC is calculated annually to recover telecommunications costs incurred from carriers by:

  • the ACMA
  • the ACCC
  • the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications, Sport and the Arts.

Under the Australian Government Charging Framework, we are required to prepare a Cost Recovery Implementation Statement (CRIS) for the proposed ACLC each year.
