We received one submission to this consultation, which did not oppose the proposal. The submission can be viewed below.

Following consideration of the submission, on 6 November 2025, the ACMA made the Television Licence Area Plans (South Australia) (Consolidation) Variation 2025 (No. 1).

We have also made the transmitter consolidation declarations that allow WIN Television to transmit services under 2 of its TV broadcasting licences on the same set of transmitters in both Riverland and Mount Gambier.

Previous consultation – The issue

We would like to allocate channels to WIN Television so it can transmit services under 2 of its TV broadcasting licences on the same set of transmitters. 

This will not impact the reception of television services for viewers in these licence areas. These transmission arrangements are already in place.
