Spectrum licences across multiple frequency bands are due to expire between June 2028 and October 2032.
Licensees of spectrum licences can apply to renew their licences up to 2 years before the licence is due to expire.

How to apply
Licensees holding spectrum licences in the 850 MHz and 1800 MHz bands can start applying to renew their licences from 18 June 2026. Sample licences for these bands are available on our website.
Applications must include:
- a completed application form
- the relevant documents and information specified in the Radiocommunications (Spectrum Licence Renewal – Information and Documents) Instrument 2026.

Completed applications must be sent to ESL@acma.gov.au.
