Proposed remake of the Telecommunications (Types of Cabling Work) Declaration 2013

The Telecommunications (Types of Cabling Work) Declaration 2013 is due to sunset on 1 April 2024.

We believe the declaration is a necessary part of the regulatory framework. We want to make a new instrument with some minor updates.

Details of the proposed changes and our reasoning are outlined in the consultation paper. The new draft instrument is also included in the key documents section above.

We invite your comments on the issues set out in the consultation paper by 5 pm (AEDT) on Monday, 27 November 2023.
