The ACMA's research program helps it to make informed decisions as an evidence-based regulator and understand the implications that regulation of communication and media markets may create. It is intended to inform strategic policy development, regulatory reviews and investigations, as well as help Australians to make better decisions about media and communications.
In developing our research publications as part of the ACMA’s research program, staff make use of a number of sources of communications and media industry research.
