For each of the microwave fixed service bands, RALI FX3 specifies notional (minimum) antenna requirements in the form of on-axis gain, half power beamwidth and radiation pattern envelope (RPE).
This page provides information regarding microwave (fixed service) parabolic antennas that have been assessed as compliant with current RALI FX3 notional antenna criteria (RPE Data files for these notional antennas are provided below). This information is the result of ongoing work by ACMA to assist ACMA and accredited frequency assigners, thus facilitating a more efficient assignment process. This information is also useful for system planners and equipment vendors.
Antenna models that have been assessed as compliant with RALI FX3 notional antenna criteria are listed for each fixed service band, alphabetically by manufacturer. Links for each band are in the table below.
This information is also tabulated in the Microsoft Excel file comply.xls
All assessments are based upon antenna characteristics provided by manufacturers/suppliers; ACMA has not validated such information. This is not an ACMA "approval" process and any information presented on this page is not intended to endorse any particular antenna manufacturer or the use of their antenna models. Users are not obliged to restrict their antenna usage to the models listed in these pages. Any antenna which can be demonstrated to comply with the notional antenna criteria is eligible for use.
Note that the lists of compliant antennas are not intended to be exhaustive. As such, antenna manufacturers and suppliers are able to request assessment of antenna product at any time. Such requests should be directed to the Manager, Spectrum Engineering Section, ACMA.
The current RALI FX3 notional antenna RPEs are provided as data files (in the NSMA Format) in the following table.
