As 2014 gets into full swing, the ACMA’s Consumer Interests team is working hard to make sure that industry is complying with the new TCP Code.
Since the TCP Code was registered on 1 September 2012, we have issued 107 formal warnings and given 10 directions to comply. Added to that are the 342 enquiry letters sent to service providers, after we identified possible non-compliance.
Industry seems to be making a genuine effort to comply with the TCP Code, but our compliance work to date has identified some ongoing areas of concern. As part of this year’s compliance program, we will conduct several multi-provider reviews focussing on compliance with:
