Digital television in Australian homes 2007
The report provides the full results of the third and final ACMA national survey into the household adoption of digital free-to-air television conducted in late 2007, together with an exploratory study of community attitudes to digital television. The survey indicates 42 per cent of Australian households are watching digital television over the airwaves. Differences in adoption rates by state and territory and between metropolitan and regional areas were measured, including two case studies in Mildura and Broken Hill, and factors associated with adoption of digital television were examined.
