Creating new markets: broadband adoption and economic benefits on the Yorke Peninsula
ACMA has jointly funded with the Information Economy Directorate of the South Australian Department for Further Education, Employment, Science and Technology (DFEEST) a study into the impacts of broadband in the Yorke Peninsula region of South Australia. The study Creating new markets: broadband adoption and economic benefits on the Yorke Peninsula was released on 19 August 2008. The study is part of a growing body of evidence of the impacts of broadband and ICT more broadly on communities and services. The study also builds on other ACMA research including the ABS study; Patterns of Internet Access in Australia which ACMA also co-funded.
