ACMA communications consumer survey data 2012


The 2012 communications consumer survey was conducted by Roy Morgan in May 2012. The sample was taken from the Australian population aged 18 years and over and was subject to quotas for age, gender and location, including regional and urban areas.  


The survey was conducted using computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI) to both fixed-line and mobile phone numbers. The quota sample for the 2012 survey included two subsets:

  • fixed-line sample n=1,805
  • mobile phone sample n=400.
