Licence renewals for bushfire-affected licensees

If you need to renew your radiocommunications licence but have been affected by the recent bushfires, you can defer your fee.

This applies if you live in one of the post codes listed on the Australian Taxation Office website and you can’t pay by the due date because you didn’t receive your renewal notice or are financially unable to.

We’d like to help by giving you the option to pay your renewal fee within three months from the expiry of your current licence. We’ll also waive any additional fee normally charged for a deferral.

We can also help you by:

  • identifying your licence number
  • updating your licence details
  • printing and sending a copy of your licence to you

If you require help in arranging the payment option, please contact us. If we don’t hear from you before your licence expires, we’ll contact you to check you still need the licence before it’s cancelled.
