Regulator Performance Framework

The RPF is an Australian Government initiative to help improve the way regulators operate.

Since 2016, we have assessed our performance against the RPF key performance indicators. We have asked our key stakeholders for their feedback on these draft self-assessment reports and welcomed suggestions on how we could improve our regulatory practice.

Consistent with previous years, we invite you to provide your feedback on our RPF self-assessment report. Importantly, the 2020–21 report will be the final year the ACMA reports under the Regulator Performance Framework. On 1 July 2021, the Australian Government introduced a flexible, principles-based approach to regulator performance reporting.

In future years, we will include our regulator performance targets in the ACMA corporate plan, and report against those targets in our annual report. We will continue to seek stakeholder feedback regularly through our consultations and other stakeholder engagement activities.
