Copper clad aluminium cable: compliance issues

The ACMA recently worked with Cabling Connection magazine to get the word out about a non-compliant type of cable-copper clad aluminium cable (CCA).

CCA cable cannot comply with the mandated Australian telecommunications cabling products standards and cannot be used as telecommunications customer cabling in Australia.

The article, 'Compliance issues for CCA', appeared in the Summer 2012 edition of Cabling Connection.
