Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman
The TIO provides free, independent, informal resolution of complaints and disputes regarding telecommunications services. It takes up complaints when customers and service providers fail to resolve disputes.
Australian Communications Consumer Action Network (ACCAN)
ACCAN represents all consumers on communications issues including telecommunications, broadband and emerging new services
ATUG is committed to the development of fair and open competition in communications services by promoting choice in services.
REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT AUSTRALIA
Regional Development Australia raises awareness of telecommunications issues, products and services, and assists small businesses to make informed decisions in the telecommunications market.
The Communications Alliance is an industry body for VoIP providers and the Australian communications industry. It has published a series of fact Sheets and produced a customer booklet.
Internet Industry Association
The Internet Industry Association is Australia's national internet industry organisation. IIA provides policy input to government and advocacy on a range of business and regulatory issues.
The Internet Society of Australia (ISOC-AU), is a non-profit, user-focused organisation promoting the development of the internet in Australia.
