Section 23 Register

This page explains and links to information that the Australian Communications and Media Authority (the ACMA) is obliged to register and maintain under section 23 of the Telecommunications (Consumer Protection and Service Standards) Act 1999 (the Act):

    Universal Service Obligation (USO).

These determinations have been made under section 11C or 14 of the Act by then Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy. No determinations on alternative arrangements for the USO have been made.

The information held in this Register will be updated when the status of any document is varied, and when new information is received.
