RALI FX03—The 1.8GHz Band
Issue for comment
The ACMA is seeking comment from interested stakeholders on proposed changes to the 1.8 GHz channel arrangements in Radiocommunications Assignment and Licensing Instruction (RALI) FX 3—Microwave fixed services frequency coordination.
The changes are proposed to support:
> the relocation of fixed links affected by the Minister’s Radiocommunications (Spectrum Licence Allocation–1800 MHz Band) Determination 2015 while also managing interference to and from adjacent spectrum licences; and
> relocation of existing fixed services in remote areas to better support sharing with PTS services.
The proposed arrangements mirror those developed for the deployment of fixed services under an 1800 MHz band spectrum licence.
Copies of the existing RALI are available from the Frequency assignment requirements section of the ACMA website.
