Draft digital radio channel plans
The digital radio channel plans (DRCPs) allot frequency blocks in relation to designated Broadcasting Services Act 1992 (BSA) radio areas for use by digital radio multiplex transmitter (DRMT) licensees. The DRCPs also determine the number and types of DRMT licences to be issued for designated BSA radio areas and technical specifications of multiplex transmitters operated under DRMT licences.
Before varying or making a DRCP, the ACMA publishes consultation papers and invites comments from stakeholders and members of the general public. Draft DRCPs currently open for comment are listed below.
Details of consultations on draft DRCPs that have closed are available on the closed draft digital radio channel plans page.
Once a draft DRCP has been finalised, it is published on the final digital radio channel plans page
The draft DRCP documents below are in Word (.doc or .docx) or Adobe PDF formats, and are listed by closing date in descending order.
