National Industry Training Advisory Bodies (ITABs)
Information about cabling training requirements can be obtained from industry national training advisory bodies (ITABs). ITABs can also provide information about assessment requirements under recognition of prior learning (RPL) arrangements. If you were previously a licensed cabler and your licence has lapsed, your previous experience may be recognised.
There are registered training organisations (RTOs) in all states and territories in Australia that offer communications training. You should contact any of the ITABs listed below for further information on cabling training.
