The Radio and Television Broadcasting Stations Book

The Radio and Television Broadcasting Stations Book lists all licensed broadcasting transmitters operating in the broadcasting services bands. It contains information on individual transmitters ordered by station callsign, channel/frequency and by service area.

The Radio and Television Broadcasting Stations Book is updated quarterly and published in PDF format.

Broadcast Transmitter Data

The Broadcast Transmitter Data contains licensed transmitter data and additional technical data to the Radio and Television Broadcasting Stations Book. You can download it in Microsoft Excel 2003, Access 2003 or Google Earth KMZ formats.

The Broadcast Transmitter Data is published during the first week of each month.

Broadcast Planning Data

Broadcast Planning Data contains technical data of all planned broadcast services, including licensed and yet to be licensed services. See Broadcast Planning Data.


The Radio and Television Broadcasting Stations Book and all editions of the Broadcast Transmitter Data are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 Australia Licence. If you use this material there are certain obligations you must fulfil. Details are found in Attributing ACMA material released under the Creative Commons Licence framework.

Please note that while a transmitter entry indicates a service has been licensed, the particular service may not be operating or be operating in accordance with the ACMA records.
