Spectrum tune-up: Future use of the 3.6 GHz band | ACMA

Spectrum tune-up: Future use of the 3.6 GHz band

23 June 2017

Date and time: Wednesday 12 July 2017, 9.30 am–1.30 pm

Venue: ACMA Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra offices

On 23 June 2017, the ACMA released a consultation package on the next steps for the future use of the 3575–3700 MHz band  (the 3.6 GHz band) in Australia. It followed on from the discussion paper Future use of the 1.5 GHz and 3.6 GHz bands released in October 2016 (October 2016 discussion paper).

The Future use of the 3.6 GHz band tune-up informed stakeholders of the issues and options available for the 3.6 GHz band, and provided an opportunity for direct feedback on the consultation package or any other relevant issues.

The tune-up was well attended, with 56 individuals representing 44 different organisations. Links to the presentations for the event are now available in the agenda below.
