Lot configuration
Following the preliminary consultation on lot configuration during November 2011, the ACMA proposed an approach to lot configuration, which includes breaking the 2.5 GHZ band into non-national lots for sale.

The exposure draft of the auction rules outlined the ACMA’s thinking on the rules relating to:
> how the auction would be conducted
> the operation of and bidding in:

Monthly newsletter emailed to subscribers
The e-bulletin is a free monthly email that provides updates (including opportunities for consultation and workshops) about the ACMA’s progress towards auctioning spectrum in the 700 MHz and 2.5 GHz bands.

Technical liaison groups

Technical liaison group for the 700 MHz band
The ACMA established a technical liaison group (TLG) to support the development and/or review of spectrum-licensed technical frameworks in the 700 MHz band. Participation in the TLG is limited to licensees in the 700 MHz band and affected parties who can provide strategic contributions to the development of technical frameworks in this band.

Initial meeting on 18 Jul 2011. Consultation with TLG members via an online portal and email, as required.
