Radiocommunications (Digital Cordless Communications Devices- DECT) Standard

The ACMA standard, Radiocommunications (Digital Cordless Communications Devices - DECT Devices) Standard 2007, refers to the standard ETSI EN 301 406 Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications (DECT) covering essential requirements under Article 3.2 of the R&TTE Directive; Generic Radio for technical performance matters including test methods and limits.

The ACMA standard modifies aspects of the industry standard (see the ACMA standard for the modified provisions).

It is important to note that the applicable mandatory standard is the ACMA standard, not the industry standard to which it refers.

Testing and record-keeping requirements for this standard are Compliance Level 2 (medium-risk device).

The ACMA standard and Explanatory Statement are available from the Comlaw website.
