Radiocommunications (Aircraft and Aeronautical Mobile Stations) Class Licence 2006

The Radiocommunications (Aircraft and Aeronautical Mobile Stations) Class Licence 2006 (the Aircraft and Aeronautical Mobile Stations Class Licence) contains the licence conditions, operating requirements and technical parameters associated with the operation of aeronautical radiocommunications and navigation equipment on board aircraft, including recreational aircraft and for certain ground-based aeronautical mobile radiocommunications equipment operating on the common group of aviation frequencies. Authorisation under the class licence is subject to the equipment and its operation complying with the class licence.

The issue of the Radiocommunications (Aircraft and Aeronautical Mobile Stations) Class Licence 2006 revokes the Radiocommunications (Aircraft Station) Class Licence 2001. The Radiocommunications (Aircraft and Aeronautical Mobile Stations) Class Licence 2006 was registered under the Legislative Instruments Act 2003 on 5 September 2006 and came into effect on 6 September 2006.
