Labelling notice amendments

In 2016, the Construction and Mining Equipment Industry Group (CMEIG) and the Tractor and Machinery Association (TMA) wrote to the ACMA and requested an amendment to the Radiocommunications (Compliance Labelling – Devices) Notice 2014 (Radiocommunications Labelling Notice) and the Radiocommunications (Compliance Labelling – Electromagnetic Radiation) Notice 2014 (EME Labelling Notice) to exempt members of CMEIG and TMA from the requirement to label a device they supplied.

The ACMA is seeking public comment on the proposal to amend the:

  • EME Labelling Notice, to exempt FCAI, CMEIG and TMA members from the labelling requirements of that notice
  • Radiocommunications Labelling Notice, to exempt CMEIG and TMA members from the labelling requirements of that notice.

Issue for comment

The ACMA welcomes comments from stakeholders on these labeling notice amendments.
