Codes of practice

The Australian Communications and Media Authority registered the Community Radio Broadcasting Code of Practice for community radio licensees in 23 October 2008. The Code was developed by the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA), working with the community radio sector, and in consultation with the former ABA and the public.

The former ABA also registered the Community Television Code of Practice for community television licensees in 2004. The Community Radio Code was reviewed in 2007-08 and the Community Television Code is scheduled for review in 2009-10.
