Upcoming auctions

When the ACMA identifies spectrum bands where it assesses there is a likelihood of excess demand (that is, where the demand may exceed the licences available) that spectrum may be released for allocation by competitive auction. Once a decision is made to offer spectrum in an auction, a public announcement is made and an applicant information package is published to explain what spectrum is available, the terms of the licences that will be issued for that spectrum and instructions on how to participate in the auction process to acquire a licence or licences.
