As part of the Reconnecting the Customer Public Inquiry into customer service and complaints handling in the Australian telecommunications industry, the ACMA held various public hearings.
32 verbal submissions were made at public hearings in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Launceston and Townsville.
The public hearings provided an opportunity for stakeholders to voice their opinions on issues facing the telecommunications industry and to:
- make fresh submissions to the ACMA on any matter relevant to the Inquiry;
- elaborate on submissions already made to the Inquiry;
- respond to or comment on submissions to the Inquiry by others (view submissions);
- respond to related questions from the Reconnecting the Customer taskforce.
The public hearings were streamed live online and are available to view via this link.
