This research focuses on community attitudes towards current affairs programs broadcast on commercial free-to-air television, including expectations that programs will present facts accurately and viewpoints fairly, and expectations about steps to be taken if facts are not presented accurately or viewpoints are not presented fairly. The research was conducted in two parts—a qualitative phase and a quantitative phase.
