Codes of practice
The Australian Communications and Media Authority (the ACMA) registered the community radio broadcasting code of practice for community radio licensees on 23 October 2008. The Code was developed by the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA), working with the community radio sector, and in consultation with the former ABA and the public.
The ACMA also registered the community television codes of practice for community television licensees in 2011. The Codes were developed by the Australian Community Television Alliance (ACTA), working with the community television sector, and in consultation with the former ABA and the public.
