Telecommunications (Accreditation Bodies) Determination No. 1 of 1997

THE AUSTRALIAN TELECOMMUNICATIONS AUTHORITY, acting under section 77 of the Telecommunications (Transitional Provisions and Consequential Amendments) Act 1997, makes the following instrument under subsection 409(1) of the Telecommunications Act 1997, as if it were the Australian Communications Authority.

Citation

1. This Determination may be cited as Telecommunications (Accreditation Bodies) Determination No. 1 of 1997.

Commencement

2. This Determination commences on 1 July 1997.

Determination of accreditation bodies

3. The National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia (NATA) is an accreditation body for the purposes of subsection 409(1) of the Telecommunications Act 1997.
