The ACMA maintains a number of broadcasting registers under the Broadcasting Services Act 1992 (the BSA). It also maintains a number of databases and reports to assist industry participants and the public, including the Media control database.
Regular users of the ACMA’s broadcasting registers should note that the new interactive Media control database incorporates information previously contained in these reports:
- Current controllers report; and
- Media diversity report (parts 1 and 2).
As a result, these reports are no longer separately available.

Recent control notifications (RCN) This report contains details of change of control notifications for the last six months. The notifications are provided to the ACMA by licensees, publishers and controllers under division 6 of the BSA (sections 62, 63 and 64).
