ACMA Industry Seminars on VoIP Regulation
The Australian Communications and Media Authority unveiled its regulatory approach to VoIP services on 16 April 2008. As part of implementing its regulatory strategy, ACMA will work with the VoIP industry to assist an understanding of the regulatory framework.
We conducted a series of industry seminars and meeting directly with interested service providers. Initial seminars are scheduled for Sydney (8 May) and Melbourne (12 May). ACMA will also visit other locations depending on levels of interest.
