Timeline

To assist potential applicants with preparing for the upcoming 1800 MHz band auction, the ACMA has provided the following table indicating dates for key events in the auction process.  More information on the auction process  is provided in the Auction guide which is part of the applicant information package.

Release the applicant information package (AIP)

The release of the AIP is the ACMA’s invitation to interested parties to apply to participate in the auction. The AIP will include the information outlined in section 4.5 of the allocation determination, including the auction guide, legislative instruments, forms, details about fees and payments, key dates and information on how to lodge auction documents.

11 Sept 2015

Application deadline

The application deadline is the last day that an applicant can apply to participate in the auction. By this date, applicants will need to:

 >     submit a completed application form

 >     submit a completed deed of acknowledgement form

 >     submit a completed deed of confidentiality form

 >     pay the application fee.

11:59pm 1 Oct 2015

Eligibility deadline

The eligibility deadline is the last day that an applicant can nominate its eligibility for the auction. By this date, applicants will need to:

 >     lodge a completed eligibility nomination form

 >     make an eligibility payment, provide a deed of financial security or do both.

Auction begins

The day the auction will commence.
