The Australian Communications and Media Authority (the ACMA) is responsible for regulating all broadcasting transmitters in Australia. Read on to access downloadable publications of licensed broadcasting transmitter data prepared from ACMA records.

The Radio and Television Broadcasting Stations Book

The Radio and Television Broadcasting Stations Book lists all licensed broadcasting transmitters operating in the broadcasting services bands. It contains information on individual transmitters ordered by station callsign, channel/frequency and by service area.

The Radio and Television Broadcasting Stations Book is updated quarterly and published in PDF format.

Broadcast Transmitter Data

The Broadcast Transmitter Data contains licensed transmitter data and additional technical data to the Radio and Television Broadcasting Stations Book. You can download it in Microsoft Excel 2003, Access 2003 or Google Earth KMZ formats.

The Broadcast Transmitter Data is published during the first week of each month.
