Broadcasting complaints

The ACMA administers the complaints system set down in the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

Please note, the ACMA can only accept a complaint about a matter covered by a code of practice if you have already made a written complaint to the particular station.

Complaints about a radio or TV broadcaster's compliance with licence conditions or standards can be made directly to the ACMA.

The ACMA considers every complaint it receives and assesses whether an investigation of the matter would be in the public interest.
