All calls to emergency numbers, whether from fixed, mobile, pay phones or VoIP are free.

Dial Triple Zero (000) for police, fire or ambulance in a life or property threatening time critical emergency situation.

000 can be called from any fixed or mobile phone and certain VoIP services.

The GSM international standard emergency number is 112. This number can be only be dialled on digital mobile phones. 112 can be dialled anywhere in the world with GSM coverage and is automatically translated to that country's emergency number.

  1. This is a text emergency call, not SMS.

  2. You can call from teletypewriters.
